Jessica joined Appia’s provisioning team in 2014 after spending nine years as a high school English teacher and adjunct college professor. She was promoted to Project Manager in January.

“This new position plays to my strengths.  It’s about asking the right questions and communicating clearly to maintain appropriate expectations with our customers. Whether I’m ordering equipment for faxing, placing port requests, or ensuring Appia’s engineers have the information they need to properly install a new trunk, it all boils down to one thing: communication.”

At Appia, Jessica is also able to do work she is proud of while maintaining the work life balance she needs and wants for her growing family.   “I really enjoy the people I work with at Appia. I also enjoy the flexibility that this job provides.  When I’m not working, I get to spend as much of my time as possible with my 21 month old twins.”
